Upset Prevention & Recovery Training

“NO ONE RISES TO THE OCCASION,  EVERYONE SINKS TO THE LEVEL OF THEIR TRAINING”

OUR TRAINING PROGRAM USES THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THE TASK…. A CORPORATE JET IN THE FULL AEROBATIC ENVELOPE.

The Patriots Jet Team Upset Prevention and Recovery Training program provides training for corporate and airline pilots at our facility in Byron, California approximately an hour north east of San Francisco. We’re the only training center in the United States that provides UPRT in a corporate jet (Sabreliner) in the FULL AEROBATIC ENVELOPE.

Using simulators for UPRT falls short of preparing a crew to properly recover from a real life upset in a corporate jet. Simulators just cannot replicate what the crew will physically experience during a real life upset encounter.

Many Upset Prevention & Recovery Training Courses use small aerobatic aircraft that really don’t perform or recover like a corporate jet. Corporate jets have a much greater mass and much slower roll/pitch rates than light prop driven aerobatic airplanes. Here at the Patriots Jet Center we use two types of jet  aircraft – The AV L-39 and the North American Sabreliner.
